There have been multiple scientific studies proving that health and wellness efforts have not only yielded higher productivity and engagement in the workplace but will also help reduce turnover as job stress is the #1 reason people quit (along with a lack of work-life balance which is related to wellness as well).
The employee-workplace relationship has tremendously changed in recent years owing to the dynamic environmental complexities and technology aided workforce. This has given birth to human resources management issues which have prompted organizations to devise new techniques to address these issues. Employee engagement in the workplace and employee satisfaction has become the core functions today.
